With New Caterpillar 3126 diesels in 2007 with 5 year warranty Among the more impressive is the 4100 Open, a dual purpose model capable of appealing to the upscale family cruiser as well as serious anglers looking for a sturdy fishing platform. The 4100 is built on a a beamy modified V hull with a shallow keel and prop pockets to reduce draft. Unlike some express cruisers her size, the 4100 is not a mid cabin design which allows her to have a full-size engine room (under the bridgedeck) with straight shafts rather than V-drives. Owner has just installed a $40k Electronics package including a Northstar 6001i with radar overlay New Northstar M121 color GPS Plotter.
