Owner Brian Dwight, established South Shore Dry Dock Marine in 1990 at it's present location 612 Plain St. Marshfield,MA
Brian has been on the water all his life, growing up in a family of recreational and commercial fisherman. His knowledge of local waters, boat handling and quality power boats are always available to his clientèle.
Co-Owner Capt.Buck Berry, joined South Shore Dry Dock Marine in 1994 after spending 18 years has the lead marine service technician for Cummins Diesel. Capt.Buck has owned and operated over 20 quality sportfishing vessels, from Custom sportfish,Bertram, Viking, Hatteras and the list goes on. An avid saltwater angler, he's sure to be found at all the major sportfishing tournaments. After a conversation with Capt.Buck you'll understand why he's one of the most knowledgeable yacht brokers on the East Coast. Capt. Jason Powell operates our Westport,MA location.
His boating experience began at age 5 when he learned to fish in and around Buzzards Bay. Since then, he has remained actively involved in the commercial and recreational fishing scene. Jason attended the University of Massachusetts, where he earned certifications in athletic training and a Master’s degree in physical therapy. During his eight-year tenure in this field, he held positions with the New England Patriots as well as with various sports medicine clinics in Massachusetts. In 1998, Jason decided to turn his passion for fishing and boating into a career and earned a Captain’s license from the U.S. Coast Guard. He launched his own business, KJ’s Sportfishing Charters, which offers inshore and offshore sportfishing trips out of Westport, Massachusetts. Jason joined South Shore Dry Dock Marine in 2000 and brings a lifetime of experience to his work with boat owners.
Mark Moriarty, is the newest addition to South Shore Dry Dock Marine. Many of you may have dealt with him in the past. Mark has been in the marine finance field for the last 20 plus years. As the co-owner of Sterling Finance, he has vast knowledge of vessels 20'-100'. Mark was supposed to retire and lead the good life on Cape Cod, but his passion for boats brought him out of retirement. (And he's too young to retire) Mark has been boating on the Cape and the Islands for quite sometime. Please contact Mark if your buying or selling, you'll be pleased with his attention to detail.
