Classic 1976 Bertram 28 Flybridge. Re-powered over winter 2005-2006 with twin 330 HP Crusader 5.7 Liter MPI inboard engines. The upgrade was comprehensive including gauges, engine wiring, transmissions, shafts and props. Seller also added an ethanol-proof fiberglass fuel tank, refrigerator and on-board battery charger. Subsequently added full canvas/strata-glass bridge enclosure. Latest addition was an upgraded Garmin GPS Map XSV radar, GPS, depth finder and fish finder. The boat has been professionally maintained and passionately cared for with fresh water rinse after each trip. Accommodations

Standard 28' layout with large v-berth forward and new cushion. Hanging locker on the port side, galley to port w/sink, storage,Newer under-counter refrigerator and a portable two burner alcohol stove. Across is the large dinette with storage underneath. The head is aft on the port side and has a sink, Porta-Potti and storage areas. The windshield has port and starboard openings and is in very good condition. The interior is in very good condition for an older Bertram.

With over 2,800 built, the Bertram 28' FB Cruiser is the best-selling Bertram ever. Designed along the line of the Bertram 31', the 28' quickly established her reputation as a durable offshore fisherman as well as a high quality family cruiser.

An excellent offshore boat, she is built on a deep-V hull with a steep 23 degrees of transom dead-rise. Her cabin layout includes berths for four with a dinette, stand up head and efficient galley.

Both engines and transmissions were replaced in 2006 and shafts and props In 2006, a new Garmin GPS was added. Also between 2005 and 2007 other items such as a Garmin Radar/ Depth-finder, bridge and front window canvas with Strato-Glass and several other items were added.

This is a real clean Bertram, turn key and ready for any off shore adventure.
