2005 Silverton 39 Motor Yacht

The Silverton 39 Motor Yacht is a culmination of extensive research and modern technology. Below, Silverton has increased the usage of rich solid cherry woods, created solid cherry raised panel doors, and extended the use of genuine Corian countertops. Top-grade interior hardware has been installed, and Flexsteel sofas and settees are included with UltraLeather surfaces. Up above, the SideWalk system reduces the number of steps, but certainly not the safe and easy access. Top-grade marine vinyl with Starboard backing and PreFixx coatings resist mildew and UV damage.

Silverton uses polyester and vinylester resins along with woven & knitted fiberglass cloth in the layup of their products. The 39's hull is solid fiberglass below the waterline, with cored hull sides above the waterline. The hull has 17 degrees of deadrise at the transom and features two running strakes, and reversed chines. The stringers are a grid system design made of hand-laid fiberglass and cored with marine grade plywood. There is a special engine bed system that incorporates (2) painted steel I-beams per engine, through bolted longitudinally between fore and aft via transverse stringers. The deck layup is similar to the hull's but with balsa coring used to stiffen the walking areas of the deck. The hull to deck joint is a "shoe box" style that is chemically and mechanically fastened and is covered with a stainless steel rub rail. The entire boat is hand-laid to the high standards.

The salon is entered from the port side of the aft deck via a sliding companionway door (which also has an incorporated screen door). Down four steps and your are standing in a beautiful salon surrounded by a rich cherry wood interior. You will immediately notice the custom teak & holly sole that the owner had professionally installed to replace the factory wall to wall carpeting.

The salon features a large L-shaped settee aft on starboard, which will convert to a marine queen berth. There is a small table in front of the settee with storage beneath, that cleverly converts into two seats with cushions for use at the dinette. The dinette is located at the forward end on the salon on port, with L-shaped seating and a large cherry wood table. Aft of the dinette is a large bureau/entertainment center with flat panel tv, Bose sound system and numerous storage lockers. 

Moving forward, there is one step down into the galley area. The galley is located on the starboard side and is U-shaped. The cabinetry is cherry wood and counters are are solid surface grey sandstone. The is a large single basin stainless steel sink with cover and a faucet with pullout sprayer. The glass cook top range has three burners and there is a flush mounted convection microwave. The refrigerator is a Norcold AC/DC unit with upper freezer. There is tremendous storage above and below counter level including a pullout pantry to the right of the refrigerator.

The guest stateroom is in the bow and features an offset marine queen berth, two hanging lockers, drawers and storage under the berth and private access to the forward head. Once again the area is finished in cherry wood with plenty of natural light from the overhead hatch and in-hull portlights. The forward head can be accessed from either the galley area or the guest quarters and has a stall shower with bi-fold door, vanity with molded-in sink, vac-u-flush head and mirrored medicine cabinet.

The master stateroom is accessed from the aft end of the salon and down three steps. There is an island marine queen berth to starboard with numerous drawers and lockers beneath. Forward to starboard is a full length hanging, with cedar lining. There is a small shelf at the head of the berth and another smaller locker aft on starboard. On the port side of the stateroom, there is a split head arrangement that has the WC and sink forward and a large stall shower aft. In between, is a second hanging locker with flat panel tv above.

" Rockin Times" has been extremely well cared for by her second owner. The boat has some very nice upgrades including the teak & holly sole in the salon and renewed exterior canvas and exterior snap-in carpeting. Bow and stern thruster.

Engine services are up to date and have been preformed by the top Cat marine mechanic in northeast Florida, and Plymouth,Ma. The boat does have the upgraded Cat 3216 / 420 hp diesels which should give outstanding performance.

This boat is very spacious both on deck and below and is neat as a pin. The cherry would interior is beautiful and in superb condition. 

I give this boat very high marks and believe her to be one of the cleanest 39 Motor Yachts available in the market today.
